Watson Chapel Junior High is excited to welcome you and your student(s) to the upcoming school year. We will be holding our orientation sessions on the following dates:
6th Grade Orientation: Friday, August 1st – 5:00
7th Grade Orientation: Monday, August 4th – 5:00
8th Grade Orientation: Tuesday, August 5th – 5:00
During orientation, students will receive their class schedules and have the opportunity to meet their teachers. We will also provide important information, including our school uniform policy and other essential updates for the new school year.
We look forward to partnering with you for a successful and productive year ahead!

We invite members of our community to share their feedback with the WCSD Board of Education every second Monday of the month. Board meetings are at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Office at 4100 Camden Road. You can register to speak by signing in at a board meeting. Registration opens at 5:30 p.m.
State law requires community speakers to live in the Watson Chapel School District zone, work for WCSD or have a student enrolled in the district. Each speaker will receive three minutes.
In alignment with Act 122 of Arkansas, our district is implementing the Yondr pouch system to create focused, distraction-free learning environments. Starting this school year, student devices will be securely stored in Yondr pouches during instructional time — from bell to bell.
