During The Watson Chapel School Board Meeting Monday, March 14th, High School student, Laila McClain and Jr. High School student, Xandria Johnson received recognition from Watson Chapel Superintendent Dr. Andrew Curry and Asst. Superintendent LaDonna Spain for their art work displayed on the storm drains located in down town Pine Bluff. Also, present was Pine Bluff Council member Joni M. Alexander and Kevin L. Harris with photographs of the drain paintings. (Upstream Art of Southeast Arkansas) This is an educational program that utilizes art to communicate the function and importance of storm drains in Jefferson County.
